Uzbekistan and Belarus exchange views on acceleration and commercialization of innovative projects

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan and Belarus held the first joint meeting on cooperation in science and technology in Minsk on 9 April.
Minister of Innovation Development of Uzbekistan Ibrahim Abdurakhmanov and Chairman of the State Committee on Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Shumilin attended the meeting.
During the meeting, the sides discussed the state and prospects of scientific and technical cooperation between Uzbekistan and the Republic of Belarus.
The delegations of Uzbekistan and Belarus also exchanged views on the acceleration and commercialization of innovative projects.
The Uzbek side put forward a proposal to establish cooperation between the technoparks of the two states.
The parties agreed to implement joint projects on the application of innovative technologies in the fields of energy, medicine, information and communication technologies, the digital economy, aerospace, robotics, food security, ecology, agricultural production, the chemical, mining industries.
Uzbekistan and Belarus agreed to approve a three-year program of scientific and technical cooperation.
