Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The entrance exams were held at AKFA University. The university plans to open its doors to students in September of this year. In the 2018/19 academic year, 908 applicants registered for entrance exams.
Applicants took a written exam in chemistry, biology and mathematics in English. Exam questionnaires were prepared by professors from the Gachon University College of Medicine (South Korea).
Tasks were drawn up on the basis of the curricula of colleges / lyceums / schools in Uzbekistan.
The entrance examination process was completely controlled by South Korean specialists. They are also responsible for checking questionnaires and announcing final results.
The maximum number of points that an examiner can receive for performing the entire examination work is 300 points. Note that in the current year, the university accepts 200 students.
To ensure the transparency and openness of the examinations, the management of the educational institution organized an online broadcast on its pages in social networks.
100 students who have achieved the highest results will be able to study for free every semester. Merit based scholarships will be valid for 6 years. In 2019/20 academic year, students are admitted only to the School of Medicine (School of Medicine).
