The Embassy of Uzbekistan in China is constantly monitoring the situation around the spread of coronavirus in Wuhan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – According to authorities, a special emergency headquarters has been deployed in the city from 10:00 a.m.
On 23 January 2020, public transport (buses, metro, ferries, etc.) was temporarily suspended, outgoing flights from the airport and railway stations were canceled. Roads when leaving the city are blocked. All transport facilities are reinforced by law enforcement orders.
According to available data, about 250 citizens of Uzbekistan, mainly students of higher educational institutions, live in Wuhan. The vast majority in connection with the end of the semester returned to their homeland.
According to the Embassy, at present more than 30 Uzbek citizens are possibly in the city. To provide them with consular legal assistance in the Wichat social network, the Wuhan 2020 Uzbekistan group was created.
The students were informed of the need to remain calm, to observe the necessary precautions and preventive measures, and contact numbers of employees of the consular department of the Embassy were reported.
