Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Asadjon Khojaev was appointed as director of the Agency for Information and Mass Communications under the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Asadjon Khodjaev was born on 3 September 1970 in Chimkent region of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In 1993 he graduated from the Tashkent Institute of Electrical Engineering, in 2001 - the Academy of State Construction under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan. By profession - telecommunications engineer, Master of Economics.
In 2017-2018, he worked as First Deputy Head of the Scientific and Educational Memorial Complex named after the First President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov.
From August 2018 to November 2019, he was the director of the Center for Information Security and Assistance in Ensuring Public Order under the Ministry for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications.
Since November 2019, he worked as the head of the State Inspectorate for Control in the Field of Informatization and Telecommunications of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
