Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Agency for State Assets Management organized a seminar on the system for assessing the effectiveness of labor activity of personnel in UzAvto Motors Powertrain JSC, its features and impact.
It was attended by employees of 15 large enterprises of our country, such as JSC "Uzbekneftegaz", JSC "Uzkimyosanoat", JSC "Uzbekiston Temir Yulari", JSC "Yulkurilish", JSC "Toshkentvino Kombinati". This is reported by the information service of the State Assets Management Agency.
It is known that one of the main activities of the Agency for State Assets Management is the correct and effective management of state enterprises by introducing a KPI system (key performance indicators) at enterprises with state participation.
At the seminar, it was said that today at 1607 enterprises with state participation in our country, the KPI system was introduced on the basis of a government decree of 2015 "On the introduction of criteria for assessing the effectiveness of the activities of state joint-stock companies and other economic entities." It was noted that since this year, the Agency has launched a procedure for assessing the effectiveness of large enterprises and publishing its results on the official website.
According to the results of the analysis of the KPI system of the executive body of these enterprises by the end of 2019, out of 1607 units (4 times more than in 2018) of state-owned enterprises, 730 units were recognized as high, 154 units are sufficient, 270 units are insufficient, 191 units are average, 89 units are low and 173 units are unsatisfactory.
As noted at the seminar, in 155 enterprises with the participation of the state, in accordance with the current legislative requirements, with a consistent "low" or "unsatisfactory" level of efficiency of the executive body for two consecutive quarters, termination of the employment contract with the head of the executive body of the enterprise was initiated.
It was emphasized that the period itself dictates the need to study the practice of effective functioning of enterprises in the republic in order to increase the level of efficiency of the enterprise, not only to determine the KPI system of the executive body, but also to apply it to all employees working at the enterprise.
Founded in 2008, the aforementioned company specializes in the production of engines for passenger cars, and currently employs more than a thousand local specialists and technicians trained in countries such as the USA, South Korea, India and Hungary.
According to the company’s representatives, the KPI system is used in electronic form for each employee at the enterprise, depending on the level of performance, employees are additionally encouraged. This, in turn, ensures strict discipline at the enterprise, an increase in the volume and quality of products, and most importantly, the deep responsibility of workers and employees to their duties.
After all, the KPI system, that is, the introduction of significant performance indicators, is an important and modern tool that helps in achieving the strategic goals of the enterprise. The use of such indicators creates an opportunity for any enterprise to constantly analyze its financial and economic situation and evaluate the process of achieving strategic objectives.
