The Ambassador of Uzbekistan discusses with the Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry of India the implementation of the previously reached agreements
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Ambassador of Uzbekistan to India Dilshod Akhatov met with the Deputy Minister of this country for trade and industry Bidyut Behari Swain, Dunyo news agency reported.
During the event, an exchange of views took place on the issue of ensuring the effective implementation of the agreements reached following the 12th meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission (IGC) on trade, economic, scientific and technical cooperation.
In particular, an agreement was reached on organizing regular negotiations between importers of products made in Uzbekistan, which are in great demand in India, and Uzbek producers.
In addition, in order to discuss the organizational foundations for establishing systematic export to India of agricultural products produced in Uzbekistan, a meeting will be organized with representatives of the General Directorate for Foreign Trade of the Ministry of Trade and Industry of India.
Bidyut Behari Swain was the co-chairman of the 12th meeting of the IGC on trade, economic, scientific and technical cooperation.
