Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 1 December 2022, First Deputy Minister Furkat Sidikov met with Indian Ambassador Manish Prabhat at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan.
During the meeting, the implementation of the agreements reached at the highest level, as well as the prospects for the development of Uzbek-Indian trade and economic cooperation were discussed.
The parties considered the practical aspects of building up bilateral cooperation in such areas as the textile industry, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, information technology, interbank cooperation, etc.
An agreement was reached to organize more detailed negotiations between the relevant companies and organizations of Uzbekistan and India on these issues.
The issues of expanding the range of exports and the implementation of joint social development projects were discussed separately.
Mutual readiness for the further development of the business climate in bilateral relations and the development of new mutually beneficial and promising projects was confirmed.
