CNG stations to resume work throughout Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- CNG filling compressor stations (CNG) will resume operation throughout Uzbekistan from 2 February 2023. This was announced today by the Ministry of Energy of Uzbekistan.

The department stated that CNG filling stations in all regions will gradually resume their work in all regions. Local khokimiyats will approve the lists of CNG filling stations, which will resume their work.

CNG stations will work according to the schedule. The opening hours of gas stations will be agreed with the khokimiyats based on the conditions of the region and the area.

The Ministry of Energy noted that as the gas pressure in the pipelines increases, changes will be made to the work schedule of the CNG station.

In early December 2022, due to cold weather and the need to provide gas and electricity to the population and social facilities as a priority, the operation of gas filling stations was limited. From 12 January, CNG filling stations have been closed throughout the country.
