An independent accredited structure may be created in Uzbekistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Representatives of the Association of Textile and Clothing and Knitting Industry Enterprises of Uzbekistan "Uztekstilprom" held a meeting with the largest laboratory and research institute in France - Institut Francais Textile Habillement. The press service of the association said in a statement.
The French partners expressed hope for the development of quality and audit infrastructure in Uzbekistan, the creation of a label for export to France, as well as the creation of an independent accredited structure in Uzbekistan for the training of auditors and compliance managers with the assistance of French specialists and trainers.
IFTH’s laboratories also create new types of materials, such as fluorescent polyester, recycled polyester and polyester products, copper and aluminum fabrics, plasma yarn, and fibers that consume little water.
The organization’s mission is divided into three main areas of specialization: technical advice and innovation, testing and certification, and knowledge and skills, all of which can be mobilized across the value chain of textile and apparel projects.
