Uz-Prista Recycling JV launched in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A new Uzbek-Bulgarian plant on processing used technical oils Uz-Prista Recycling has been launched in Uzbekistan.
Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Gulomjon Ibragimov and Prime Minister of Bulgaria Boyko Borissov opened the plant via videoconference. The plant is located at the special industrial zone Angren.
The enterprises will annually process up to 43,000 processed technical oils and produce up to 30,000 tonnes of basic oils.
The volume of investments within the project made up US$30 million. It is expected that about 40% of the JV’s products will be exported, including Russia and Ukraine.
The venture is planning to create own network on collecting of used oils across Uzbekistan. Collected oils will be delivered to enterprises for processing.
Uz-Prista Recycling was created on the base of unused premises of former Rezinotehnika and will process used technical oil. The founders are Uznefteprodukt and Prista Recycling.
