Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Several new automobile roads were opened in Tashkent.
In particular, automobiles started to move on new 4 km street on Nurafshon street, extended from Tinchlik subway to Aqtepa square.
New bridge with the width of 19 meters and the length of about 1 km was built at the crossroads of Muqimi, Usman Nasir and Shota Rustaveli streets. Muqimi street was expanded to five-lane roads on both direction. This helped to create one more ring-road in Tashkent.
Construction of the bridge will help to decrease traffic on Bunyodkor, Chilonzor, Chuponota, Kushbegi and Bobur streets.
Almost 90-meter high overpass for passengers was constructed near the bridge, 48 and 60-meters overpasses were built at Aktepa square. The overpasses are glassed and protect passengers from bad and hot weather.
Taraqqiyot street was also expanded. About 3-km new road was constructed from crossroads of Pahlavon Mahmud and Mirzo Ulugbek to Agangaran street. The bridge at the crossroads of Taraqqiyot and Small Ring-Road was reconstructed.
