Adbulaziz Kamilov participates in CIS summit in Bishkek

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov took part in the next session of the Council of Heads of State of the Commonwealth of Independent States in Bishkek on 16 September 2016.
The delegation of Uzbekistan led by Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdulaziz Kamilov participated in the session on order of Interim President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyayev.
The CIS heads of state discussed the organisation’s performance over 25 years since its establishment and exchanged opinions on the key areas of its further development.
Several multilateral documents have been adopted following the summit, including statements on international terrorism, drug trafficking, the 25th anniversary of the CIS and the 70th anniversary of the Nuremberg Trials.
The CIS heads of state signed a number of administrative decisions, including on Russia’s upcoming Presidency of the CIS in 2017.
