KOICA President visits Tashkent Vocational Training Center

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of the Korean International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) Kim In Shik and Ministry of Labour of Uzbekistan Aziz Abdukhakimov paid a visit to Tashkent Vocational Training Center on 5 October 2016.
During the visit, Kim In Shik familiarized himself with the activities of the center on training specialists. It was noted that there is need in educational institutions, which train skilled specialists.
Uzbekistan and South Korea created Tashkent Vocational Training Center in 2012. The project was financed due to gtant of the Government of South Korea.
The Center has modern classes and shops for 360 students, as well as dormitory for students from the regions. The Center trains specialists on four main directions.
The students train specialists within 10 months – six months at the Center and 4 months – internship at the enterprise. So far, over 2,000 young people underwent training at the center.
