US, Central Asian states to hold meeting in Hamburg

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The United States and countries of Central Asia will hold a meeting in the format of C5+1, the official representative of the US State Department Mark Toner said.
During the briefing in Washington, Toner said that the US and Central Asian states will hold meeting this week. The meeting was held in Hamburg (Germany), he said.
The format С5+1was created in 2015. The US Secretary of State John Kerry held a meeting with the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of five countries of Central Asia in New York. In November, Foreign Ministers of Central Asia and US Secretary of State John Kerry held C5+1 format meeting in Samarkand and adopted Samarkand declaration.
The second meeting was held in Washington (the United States) in August 2016.
