Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan held a meeting of working groups to develop proposals on deepening cooperation in all directions of water relations on 8-9 December 2016.
According to the Uzbek Foreign Ministry, the working groups of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan held the meeting in Tshkent.
The delegation of Uzbekistan was led by Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Water Management Shavkat Hamraev, and Kazakhstan – Vice Minister of Agriculture Erlan Nysanbaev.
During the meeting, the sides discussed practical aspects of cooperation between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan on water issues in the context of realization of agreements, reached during recent Uzbek-Kazakh contacts at high level.
Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan signed a protocol in the end of the meeting. The sides agreed to hold next meeting of the working group in Kazakhstan.
