LUKOIL office in Uzbekistan to manage business in Central Asia

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Office of Russian company LUKOIL in Uzbekistan will manage business of the company in Central Asia, Russian media outlet Izvestiye reported.
Head and co-owner of the oil company Vagit Alekperov said that the Russian company restructured its subsidiary LUKOIL Overseas.
LUKOIL Overseas managed oil and gas assets of the Russian company abroad.
He said that three managing centers in Dubai, Houston and Tashkent were singled out from LUKOIL Overseas.
Alekperov said that almost everything is finished. Now the company has three separate regions – Houston, Dubai and Uzbekistan.
LUKOIL office in Tashkent will manage its business in Central Asia, the media outlet said.
Currently, LUKOIL implement three product-sharing agreements in Uzbekistan – Kandym-Khauzak-Shady-Kungrad, Southern-Western Gissar and exploration of the Uzbek part of Aral. So far, LUKOIL produced over 32 billion cubic meters of gas in Uzbekistan.
The company will produce about 17-18 billion cubic meters of gas a year in Uzbekistan by 2020.
