Uzbekistan, Czech Republic discuss perspectives of cooperation

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Czech Republic to Uzbekistan Jaroslav Siro held negotiations at the Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan.
Speaker of the Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan Nurdinjon Ismailov received Ambassador of the Czech Republic.
During the meeting, the relations between Uzbekistan and the Czech Republic were developing gradually in various fields since two state established diplomatic relations on 1 January 1993.
Nurdinjon Ismailov said that the parliamentary delegations of Uzbekistan and the Czech Republic are meeting on a regular basis to discuss cooperation, exchange experience, as well as participate in various international events.
Czech Ambassador said that Uzbekistan is a key state in Central Asia and a major partner of the Czech Republic in the region.
“This meeting demonstrates the high attention of the country’s leadership and the supreme legislative body issues to further enhance and intensify the Uzbek-Czech relations, including inter-parliamentary contacts, which are intended to contribute to the deepening of mutual understanding and create a favorable environment for further expansion of bilateral relations”, - Jaroslav Siro said.
During the meeting, the Czech delegation familiarized the activities of the Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis and its committees, factions and deputy groups.
