Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan discuss opening of charter flights to Issyk-Kul

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan held negotiations on possible opening of charter flights to Issyk-Kul (Tamchi Airport).
A delegation of Uzbekistan Havo Yollari and Ministry of Culture, Information and Tourism of Kyrgyzstan held a meeting, the press service of the Uzbek airline said.
During the meeting, the sides discussed issues on further developing bilateral cooperation in tourism. The side considered opportunities of opening charter flights to Issyk-Kul (Tamchi Airport).
The Uzbek sides noted that Kyrgyzstan should carry out several procedures to ensure compliance of Tamchi Airport to international aviation security norms.
After adopted measures and if there is demand, Uzbekistan Havo Yollari can organize the charter flights to Issyk-kul.
