Japanese delegation pays visit to Uzbek Labour Ministry

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Ministry of Labour of Uzbekistan Aziz Abdukhakimov received the delegation of Japan led by President of International Relations Organization (IRO) Noriaki Suga, the Uzbek ministry said in a statement.
The sides discussed a project of new inter-governmental agreement between Uzbekistan and Japan on sending technical internships to Japan in line with the requirements of the legislations of Japan, which will come into force from November 2017.
Uzbek Labour Minister Aziz Abdukhakimov said that Uzbekistan and Japan established friendly relations on the base of mutual trust.
Minister briefed the Japanese side on trends in developing textile industry, including silk industry, plastic industry, metallurgy, information technologies, processing agriculture goods in Uzbekistan. He said that the Uzbek side is interested in undergoing technical internship of the Uzbek citizens in Japan.
Noriaki Suga provided information about new mechanism and requirements of selection of technical interns, reorganization of authorized body, selection of technical interns, etc.
Japanese side expressed wish to develop bilateral cooperation in attracting Uzbek technical interns to the Japanese enterprises via informing potential of labour resources of Uzbekistan and their professional skills.
The sides reached agreement to agree and approve the inter-governmental agreement on sending technical interns to Japan.
