GE participates in Power Uzbekistan exhibition
Within the framework of the exhibition GE presented a wide range of power generating equipment with a capacity from 119 kW to 700 MW, in particular, the world's most powerful gas turbine 9HA, as well as solutions for servicing and modernization of its own power park and equipment of more than 90 manufacturers.
In addition, visitors were introduced to GE advanced technologies for power transmission and distribution, including comprehensive automation solutions and services. As part of the business program of the exhibition, the company introduced its technologies for renewable energy.
Possessing unique technological expertise and experience in such sectors as heat and hydropower, production, transportation and refining of oil and gas, GE has been involved in solving key infrastructure tasks of the country for more than 10 years in partnership with leading companies of Uzbekistan.
In particular, GE was selected as the main supplier of equipment for the construction of a combined-cycle plant (CCP) with a capacity of 370 MW at the Tashkent Thermal Power Plant.
GE technologies also help to illuminate houses and provide transportation of gas in the Uzbek section of the Central Asia-China gas pipeline.
