IUT and American Councils for International Education discuss training of specialists

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A delegation of American Councils for International Education paid a visit to Inha University in Tashkent to discuss issues of cooperation.
The delegation included Executive Vice President of American Councils for International Education Dr. David Patton and Vice President Michael Curtis.
IUT rector Sarvar Babakhodjayev welcomed the guests and briefed them about activities of one of the youngest universities in Uzbekistan in training specialists in the field of information technologies and logistics. Sarvar Babakhodjayev also shared information on plans for development of the university.
In its turn, the US delegation provided information on activities of the American Councils for International Education and its educational projects, implemented around the world.
During the talks, the parties discussed issues of cooperation between the two organizations in training of highly qualified specialists, professors and professional development of the university staff.
