Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan will launch flights on route Tashkent-Bishkek-Tashkent on 23 December 2017. This was stated by the Minister of Transport and Roads of Kyrgyzstan Zhamshitbek Kalilov following the visit of the Kyrgyz President to Uzbekistan.
Uzbekistan Havo Yollari (Uzbekistan Airways) will carry out two flights a week, as well as the airline of Kyrgyzstan “Air Manas” - two flights a week.
He said that from 2018, the parties intend to resume air communication in the direction of Tashkent-Osh-Tashkent.
Starting from 2018, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan will launch a rail communication in the direction Tashkent-Bishkek-Balykchy. Kyrgyz Minister said that the sides are considering launch road passenger transportation between the southern regions of Kyrgyzstan and the regions of Uzbekistan. As for cargo transportation, the work between the countries will resume in 2018.
