Three citizens of Uzbekistan suffer from gas explosion in Kyrgyzstan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Three citizens of Uzbekistan, who worked in Kyrgyzstan, suffered in the result of gas explosion, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs with reference to the Uzbek embassy in Kyrgyzstan said in a statement.
The incident occurred on 20 February 2018 in Kochkor-Ata in Jalal-Abad region. As a result of the explosion, three Uzbek citizens were injured, who worked in one of the cafes of the city.
According to the information provided by the Department of Internal Affairs of Jalal-Abad regio, the explosion occurred in the cafe “Asia” due to gas leakage in a gas furnace. Four people received burns as a result of the explosion. Three of them are residents of Namangan city, another one is a resident of Toktogul district of Kyrgyzstan.
Two Uzbek citizens Azimjon Valiyev and Muhammadbir Turgunpulatov were placed in the local hospital in Kochkor Ata, and Rustamjon Parpiev, who received third degree burns, was hospitalized in Osh city hospital.
The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Kyrgyzstan established working contacts with responsible representatives of the Plenipotentiary Representation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan in Osh and the Department of Internal Affairs of Jalal-Abad region.
