Schools in Uzbekistan start testing new school uniforms

Tashkent, Uzbekistan ( -- Two schools of Uzbekistan started testing new school uniforms, the press service of the Association "Uztekstilprom" said.

In particular, the new forms developed with participation of the design center "Shark Liboslari" under the Association "Uztekstilprom" and famous fashion designers of Uzbekistan are tested at school No. 91 in Tashkent and at school No. 4 in Syrdarya region.

The form, developed by local designers, is divided into three age groups. These are kits for 1-4, 5-7 and 8-11 classes. Of the 30 versions of the student forms, four sets of clothes for junior, middle and senior classes were chosen.

For the purity of the experiment, it was decided to introduce several sets of forms at once in two different schools. The parents will share their opinion on new forms.

The forms were created taking into account weather conditions in Uzbekistan, age of students, traditions and mentality of the Uzbek people. Local fabrics and accessories are used.

The experiment will last till the end of academic year. The cost of the forms will range between 140,000 soums to 200,000 soums.
