Justice Minister meets with representatives of US Institute of Peace
The US Peace Institute is an independent national organization, which carries out activities aimed at preventing and resolving conflicts, maintaining peace and stability.
In the course of the meeting, along with large-scale reforms in Uzbekistan, the activities of the Ministry of Justice were also widely presented to the US side.
Issues of ongoing reforms in the social and economic sphere and registration of non-governmental non-profit organizations, as well as the role of the Ministry in ensuring the rights and freedoms of citizens, as well as priority areas for possible cooperation were discussed.
At the end of the conversation, detailed answers were given to the issues of interest to the parties, on the basis of the opinions and proposals, priority areas for further cooperation were identified.
