Uzbekistan is widely represented at the exhibition Balttur-2019

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- From 1 to 3 February, the 26th International Tourism Fair “Balttour 2019” was held at the International Exhibition Center in Kipsala, the widest and most important tourism exhibition in the Baltics, which opens annually the new tourist season festive mood among industry professionals and lovers of travel.

 “Balttour-2019” united in its expositions more than 470 stands with actual offers from approximately 850 travel companies from 41 countries of the world, including Uzbekistan. Last year's show gathered in Kipsala 860 travel companies and representatives from 39 countries of the world, about 30 thousand visitors.

According to the organizers and participants, in recent years, the exhibition-fair has become increasingly popular internationally.

As the Minister of Economy of Latvia Ralph Nemiro said at the opening ceremony, Balttur is the most important annual event in the industry, which contributes to the development of tourism and the establishment of international cooperation in this field.

Uzbekistan at the exhibition was represented by a single national stand, which allowed foreign participants to get a holistic view of the domestic tourism product. Here, visitors were provided with detailed information about the possibilities of the republic, to which considerable interest was expressed. According to representatives of various foreign travel companies, the introduction of a visa-free regime for a number of states by the republic can multiply the flow of travelers, including from Europe, who are well aware of the beauties of Uzbekistan and the rich cultural and historical heritage of our region.

Three days in Kipsala, visitors were able to get acquainted with new travel destinations, admire the diversity of world cultures, rediscover the regions of Latvia and enjoy their hospitality. Having studied the tourist opportunities of different countries, connoisseurs of distant wanderings could immediately at the exhibition acquire profitable travel opportunities in almost 200 countries of the world.

As a result of participation in the exhibition tour companies "Shirin-Sayyoh", "Uzbekistan for you" and "Gold Travel" from Samarkand reached specific agreements with Baltic partners, as well as other participating companies on the organization of travel of tourist groups from the Baltic countries to Uzbekistan.
