Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Today, on 8 August, at 19:47, a fire occurred near a fuel station on Jannat Makon Street in the city of Urgench, Khorezm region. This information was reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Uzbekistan.

The fire broke out during the transfer of gasoline from a fuel tanker to a storage tank. Upon receiving the alert, five fire and rescue crews arrived at the scene by 19:50. The fire was contained by 19:56 and completely extinguished by 20:06.

As a result of the fire, about 3 tons of gasoline in the mobile tanker were burned. No casualties or injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire and the extent of the damage are currently being determined.
