Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The introduction of alternative energy sources in Ferghana’s social infrastructure will begin with the participation of the Singaporean company Watchman Group Pte., Ltd.

The governor of Ferghana region, Khayrullo Bozorov, met with the company’s Executive Director, Jemis Hean, who represents Watchman Group’s interests in Uzbekistan.

During the meeting, the parties discussed steps toward the practical implementation of a project aimed at utilizing alternative energy sources in regional social facilities.

It is expected that by the end of May, the project will be launched in pilot mode at several selected sites.

The parties also exchanged views on the project's potential impact on the regional economy. Specific measures were proposed to support promising initiatives in Ferghana involving Watchman Group Pte., Ltd, attract investors, and ensure the efficient use of available resources.

The discussion resulted in agreements on further cooperation and a roadmap for advancing the project.
