Andijan Delegation Discusses Investment Projects with China

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The delegation of Andijan region led by Governor Shukhratbek Abdurakhmanov is on a working visit to the People’s Republic of China, where it took part in a business forum in Hainan Province.

The event brought together more than 200 representatives of Chinese business circles and major companies. The forum aims to develop trade and economic cooperation between Uzbekistan and China, strengthen interregional ties, and implement mutually beneficial investment projects.

During the forum, information was presented on the investment potential of Andijan region. This includes opportunities in industry, agriculture, textiles, small hydropower plants, furniture production, and logistics.

Special attention was given to negotiations with Chinese entrepreneurs on establishing joint ventures, creating new jobs, producing export-oriented goods, and implementing investment projects.

Following the visit, further expansion of practical cooperation between the regions of the two countries is expected, along with strengthened investment ties and the launch of new joint initiatives.
