CBU Monitoring Results: Where to Find the Best Auto Loan and Microloan Rates in Uzbekistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Central Bank of Uzbekistan has reported that, as of 14 July 2025, the average annual interest rate on auto loans issued by commercial banks stands at 24.3%, while the average rate on microloans has reached 34.5%. These findings were published as part of the regulator’s latest monitoring report.
Among banks offering the lowest auto loan rates, Tenge Bank leads with an annual rate of 17.4%. It is followed by Ipoteka Bank at 21.1% and Orient Finance Bank at 21.2%. The highest auto loan rates were recorded at Hamkor Bank, Infinbank, and Madad Invest Bank.
In the microloan segment, the most favorable rate — 22.1% per annum — is offered by Aloqabank. Infinbank and the National Bank of Uzbekistan follow with rates of 25.6% and 26%, respectively. Apex Bank tops the list with the highest average microloan rate of 40.8%.
The Central Bank clarified that when calculating the average rates, it took into account not only general market lending terms but also loans issued under preferential programs for entrepreneurs and special-purpose loans aimed at supporting specific sectors of the economy.
