Customs Committee of Uzbekistan Recognized as Leader in Digital Transformation
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Customs Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan has ranked first in the digital transformation rating, achieving a record score of 97.05%.
The second and third places were taken by the Agency for Management of State Assets and the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation, respectively.
A total of 91 government bodies, business associations, and local executive authorities participated in the evaluation.
It is worth noting that this rating is compiled in accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated June 15, 2021, No. 373, “On Measures for the Further Improvement of the Rating System for Assessing the Development of the Digital Economy and E-Government.”
When compiling the rating, factors such as the level of openness and electronic participation, development of e-services, information security, and the degree of digitalization of organizational activities are taken into account.
