Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A delegation from the Utah State Senate and representatives of the U.S. business community visited the Ministry of Digital Technologies and IT Park Uzbekistan.

During the visit, the delegation was presented with an overview of the ongoing reforms, key initiatives, and future plans at IT Park Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Digital Technologies.

The delegates also learned about the activities of the Ustudy IT academy, which specializes in training IT professionals, as well as the work of the Unified Integrator UZINFOCOM. Special attention was given to projects in artificial intelligence and digital solutions.

Additionally, the delegation participated in the opening of one of Uzbekistan’s largest digital creative events — the international festival GameFest 2025 held at IT Park Uzbekistan. Stuart Adams, President of the Utah State Senate and a leading business figure, delivered a speech and shared his insights.

During the main part of the visit, Deputy Minister of Digital Technologies R. Karimjonov held a meeting with the delegation to discuss the development of Uzbekistan’s digital infrastructure.

Topics covered included the expansion of international outsourcing services in Uzbekistan, the training of local IT personnel for the global market, educational programs implemented jointly with the Coursera platform, the conditions IT Park Uzbekistan has created for foreign IT companies, tax incentives, as well as the positive outcomes of large-scale projects such as “Zero Risk.”

The meeting also explored opportunities for collaboration in training young specialists in artificial intelligence and cybersecurity, improving English language instruction, and organizing training sessions and seminars with the involvement of foreign mentors and experts.

Initiatives were proposed to promote Uzbekistan as an “IT Hub,” optimize costs for U.S. companies through residency in IT Park, and develop business utilizing remote work capabilities.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides expressed sincere gratitude and confirmed their readiness to work towards long-term and mutually beneficial cooperation.
