Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 20 August 2025, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bobur Usmanov held talks with Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the country Huseyn Guliyev.

The discussion focused on the implementation of agreements reached during the Uzbek-Azerbaijani summit held in early July 2025 in Baku.

The parties also exchanged views on the organization of joint events dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

Both sides reaffirmed their mutual interest in continuing a systematic dialogue in the spirit of strategic partnership and alliance.
