Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 29 April 2025, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan Jamshid Kuchkarov met with Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Mher Grigoryan in Tashkent.

During the meeting, the parties reviewed the outcomes of the 105th meeting of the CIS Economic Council — held in Uzbekistan for the first time at the initiative of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev — and exchanged views on the prospects for further development of Uzbek-Armenian cooperation.

Mher Grigoryan expressed gratitude for the warm hospitality and praised the high level of event organization. Particular emphasis was placed on enhancing bilateral trade. Both sides underlined the importance of fully utilizing existing potential to boost trade turnover between the two countries.

As a result of the talks, an agreement was reached to intensify bilateral contacts in the trade and economic sphere.
