Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 12 August, Deputy Minister of Transport of Uzbekistan Jasurbek Choriev met with Chan Man Hin, Deputy Chairman of JDB Group Limited, a company based in Hong Kong, a special administrative region of China.

During the talks, the parties discussed promising aviation projects involving Uzbekistan, Hong Kong, and potential international partners.

Discussions focused on the organization of direct flights between Hong Kong and Uzbekistan, as well as the establishment of an International Aviation Academy in the country.

Particular attention was given to launching regular passenger and cargo flights that would help develop logistics, tourism, and business ties. Hong Kong Airlines was proposed as a priority operating partner.

In addition, the sides discussed the initiative to create an International Aviation Academy that would train pilots, technicians, flight attendants, ground staff, and aviation managers in accordance with international standards, including FAA and IOSA requirements.
