Earthquake with Magnitude 3.8 Strikes Bukhara Region
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 6 July at 20:16 local time, an earthquake with a magnitude of 3.8 was recorded in the desert area of Karakul district in the Bukhara region, according to the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Uzbekistan.
The seismic intensity at the epicenter, located in Karakul, reached 4 points. In the settlements of Peshkun and Gazli, the tremors were felt with an intensity of 2 points.
The depth of the epicenter was measured at 10 kilometers, situated 533 kilometers southwest of Tashkent.
Preliminary reports indicate that no damage or casualties have been reported.
