Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The State Security Service of Uzbekistan reported the detention of an employee in the Khorezm region who was illegally fabricating fictitious work experience records.

It was established that a senior specialist at the state unitary enterprise “Soliq Servis” in Gurlan district, abusing his official position and connections within tax authorities, promised two local residents—who had no prior employment—to create false records of salary payments for the period from January to June 2025.

As a result of operational measures conducted by the State Security Service’s Khorezm regional department in cooperation with the Department for Combating Economic Crimes, the official was caught red-handed receiving 12.5 million soums as payment for his services.

A criminal case has been initiated against the detainee, and investigative actions are ongoing.
