Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A delegation from Uzbekistan’s Ferghana Region, led by Deputy Hokim Nuridin Mamajanov, took part in the two-day “Sughd–2025” International Trade Exhibition and Forum held in Khujand, Republic of Tajikistan.

The forum, titled “Trade and Investment Opportunities and Prospects for Regional Development”, brought together over 50 government officials and entrepreneurs from the Ferghana Region, with the aim of strengthening economic cooperation between the Sughd and Ferghana regions, enhancing the investment climate, and fostering interregional partnerships.

During the forum, several promising projects were presented, and mutually beneficial agreements were reached. Notably, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Ferghana and Sughd regions.

The program also included B2B meetings, which led to concrete agreements in the fields of trade and export.

The main goal of the exhibition and forum was to promote international trade, enhance export potential, expand international cooperation, attract investment, introduce new technologies, and deepen ties with regional partners and international financial institutions.
