Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Governor of Ferghana region Khairullo Bozorov met with Wang Xia, head of the Chinese company Xinjiang Xiya Jianking Keji Co., Ltd.

The talks focused on prospective projects planned for implementation in Furqat district.

Mr. Wang Xia, expressing gratitude for the warm reception, presented a project for the modernization and digitalization of the district’s sewer system. He also emphasized interest in implementing renovation initiatives, noting that the region’s investment potential is being thoroughly studied and that active participation in its development is planned.

Governor Bozorov highlighted that mutually beneficial ties are being established between Chinese entrepreneurs and the region, with positive results already achieved in several promising areas.

He stressed the project’s importance for the region and assured government support for its implementation. If successfully executed in Furqat district, the experience will be extended to other districts as well.

The meeting also resulted in concrete proposals and agreed measures for launching the project.
