Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 30 June at 20:50, emergency services in the Kashkadarya region received a report of a fire that had broken out in two retail outlets—a confectionery and a dried fruit shop—located on Ipak Yuli Street in the "Kesh" neighborhood of the city of Shakhrisabz.

Just three minutes later, at 20:53, four fire and rescue brigades arrived at the scene. Thanks to the prompt actions of the responders, the fire was localized by 21:03 and fully extinguished by 21:10.

Preliminary reports indicate that the roof and interior of the shops were damaged by the blaze, affecting an area of approximately 30 square meters. It is noted that the affected premises are located outside the central market area.

Fortunately, there were no casualties or injuries. Representatives of the city emergency management department were dispatched to the scene. Specialists are currently working to determine the exact cause of the fire and assess the extent of the material damage.
