Gold Exports from Uzbekistan Surge 80.9% in January–July 2025
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In January–July 2025, Uzbekistan exported gold worth US$7.59 billion, according to the National Statistics Committee.
This represents an 80.9% increase compared to the same period last year, when gold exports totaled US$4.19 billion.
The share of gold in the country’s total exports rose from 28.1% to 37.7%, highlighting the key role of this commodity in Uzbekistan’s foreign trade structure.
During the first seven months of 2025, the country’s foreign trade turnover reached US$44.4 billion, exceeding the same period of 2024 by US$7.38 billion, or 19.9%.
