As agreed, the amount of deposits in Uzbekistan will be evaluated during the five-year span of the project. The quality of uranium in the country will also be assessed.
JOGMEC will conduct exploration works at Juzyukuduk and Tamdykukuduk-Tulyantash perspective fields in Navoi region.
If JOGMEC finds uranium of high quality and reports potential utilization, Japan will then try to seek concession in order to import and export the metal.
