Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Ministry of Digital Technologies of Uzbekistan hosted an official visit by representatives of McKinsey & Company, one of the world’s leading international consulting firms.

During the visit, the delegation was presented with an overview of Uzbekistan’s digitalization efforts, ICT infrastructure, and the e-government system. Detailed insights were also shared on the country’s digital transformation strategy, opportunities for international cooperation, and the openness of its investment climate.

The delegation also visited the UZINFOCOM center, where they reviewed projects related to information systems, data centers, and technological infrastructure.

A key highlight of the visit was a meeting between McKinsey Senior Partner Yermolai Solzhenitsyn and Minister of Digital Technologies Sherzod Shermatov.

The discussions focused on technological development, the potential use of international consulting services in the digital domain, and prospects for long-term cooperation between Uzbekistan and McKinsey.

The guests commended Uzbekistan’s commitment to digital reform and its openness to global partnerships.
