Monument to Islam Karimov to be erected in Moscow

According to the order from 27 October 2017, the monument will be installed in Yakimanka area until 31 December 2019.

The Republican Charitable Public Foundation named after Islam Karimov will ensure the design, productipon and installation of the monument, as well as the landscaping works around the area.

The document said that after installation, the Prefecture of the Central Administrative District of Moscow will maintain the monument.
