National Agency for Social Protection and UNFPA Sign Action Plan for 2025–2026
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 19 August 2025, Mansurbek Alloyarov, Director of the National Agency for Social Protection, held a meeting with Nigina Abaszade, Head of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) Representation in Uzbekistan.
The parties discussed a wide range of issues related to the prevention of and response to gender-based violence, support for women and girls—including women with disabilities—strengthening the professional capacity of specialists, and raising awareness in the areas of family planning and women’s rights protection.
Following the negotiations, an Action Plan for 2025–2026 was signed, outlining the implementation of innovative approaches, the development of inclusive practices, and the further improvement of the social services system.
The agreements reached open new opportunities for protecting the interests of vulnerable populations and expanding cooperation in the humanitarian sector.
