National Day of Uzbekistan Celebrated at Expo 2025
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The National Day of Uzbekistan was celebrated at the international exhibition Expo 2025 in Osaka, Japan. The event featured national dances, concerts, a parade, and official ceremonies.
During the celebration, the national anthems of both countries were played, and official delegations participated. Gayaneh Umerova, Head of the Culture and Arts Development Fund, noted that more than 500,000 people visited the Uzbekistan pavilion and highlighted that it had been awarded the Red Dot: Best of the Best prize.
In addition, a memorandum was signed to organize an exhibition dedicated to the Great Silk Road in 2027 at the National Museum in Nara. The document provides for the expansion of cooperation between museums, as well as among academic and expert communities.
After the conclusion of Expo 2025, the Uzbekistan pavilion will be relocated to Nukus, where it will become an educational center.
