New International-Standard Hotel Complex Opens in Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan’s tourism potential continues to grow dynamically. Tourist flows are increasing across all regions of the country, while modern hotels and infrastructure facilities are actively being built.

A new hotel complex, constructed on more than 8 hectares near the New Uzbekistan Park in Tashkent, has become a significant milestone in the development of the tourism sector. President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the site as part of his review of ongoing development projects.

Previously abandoned land has been transformed into a modern, well-developed area featuring 12 hotels, the “New Tashkent” conference hall with 375 seats, a restaurant with 310 seats, a wellness center, and an open-air sports ground.

The hotels are named after Karakalpakstan and the country’s regions. Each five-story, three-star hotel has 62 rooms and is designed to accommodate 124 guests. The management of the complex will be entrusted to leading international operators with extensive experience, including Leo Hospitality Solutions, Radisson Individuals, and Trademark Collection by Wyndham.

Private banks have also expressed readiness to participate in hotel management partnerships. The Head of State emphasized that the development of modern service facilities and infrastructure will contribute to improving people’s well-being.

The hotel complex combines restaurants, conference halls, and leisure zones, making it a venue capable of hosting high-level events, including major international conferences.

The project has created 540 new jobs, and the complex will be able to host up to 55,000 tourists annually. It is expected to become a new hub for both domestic and international visitors while serving as an additional driver of tourism growth in the Tashkent region. The initiative has also stimulated infrastructure improvements in nearby neighborhoods, enhancing the quality of life for local residents.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev stressed the importance of further expanding and improving service quality, while actively attracting both domestic and foreign tourists. He underlined that the development of multifunctional hotel services should continue systematically across all regions of the country.
