Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — From January to July 2025, Uzbekistan produced 212,156 passenger cars, a 3.54% increase compared to the same period in 2024, according to the National Statistics Committee.

Among them, 83,167 Cobalt cars were manufactured, down 1.9% from the same period last year. UzAuto Motors also produced 51,587 Damas vehicles (up 5.5%), 26,385 Trackers (up 12.9%), and 18,734 Onix (up 2.7%).

The country’s enterprises also produced 4,838 Chery cars (down 0.6%), 14,419 KIA (up 27.6%), 4,425 Haval (up 7%), and 8,601 BYD vehicles.

In addition, 28,951 specialized passenger vehicles were manufactured during the reporting period, marking an 88.8% increase compared to the same period last year.
