Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- An earthquake with epicenter in neighboring Tajikistan was registered in Tashkent city at 00:46 on Fiday, 9 September 2011.

According to preliminary data of Tashkent Seismic Station, the power of earthquake in Tashkent city was 2 points.

The earthquake epicenter was located 300 kilometers from Tashkent to the South-Eastern direction at Tajikistan territory. US Geology Survey said that the earthquake magnitude at the epicenter made up 5.
