Uzbek President congratulates Tajik leader with Independence Day

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov has congratulated President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon on the occasion of national holiday of that country – Independence Day.

In his note, the Uzbek head conveyed confidence in that the ages-old relations between Uzbekistan and Tajikistan built on principles of neighborliness and mutual respect will keep developing for the good of the two peoples.
